Friends of SHARP
Friends of SHARP are supporters of the project who, in exchange for a small annual fee of £15, recieve a number of benefits. Friends are kept up to date on all our latest research and upcoming events, can attend our Tuesday night lecture series for free, and are invited on a free 'Tea & Tour' of the excavation towards the end of every season.

Becoming a Friend of SHARP is a great way to support the project and become more involved. You don't need to be an archaeologist, or even want to dig to be a Friend, everyone is welcome and all support is gratefully received.
Join today to get your new Friends membership card and we will look forward to welcoming you onsite in the summer.
Benefits of being a Friend of SHARP include:
-
Attend our Tuesday night lectures throughout the summer season for FREE. Each week of our excavation season we host a lecture from one of our own archaeologists or a guest speaker on a variety of subjects in St Mary's Church, Sedgeford. Details of the lecture series can be found here.
-
FREE 'Tea & Tour' for Friends towards the end of the season's digging to bring you up to date on our research. You will be invited to visit the site for a full tour of the excavation followed by tea and homemade cakes in the marquee with our team on hand to answer any questions.
-
5% off all our weekly courses and 10% off our day courses running throughout the season. Sign-up to one of our exciting courses and get a taste of working on a real archaeological excavation. You can even book yourself on a day's digging experience. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
-
FREE parking at our Festival of Archaeology. Join us for our annual Festival of Archaeology where we open the site to the public and share what we have learnt through our excavations with anyone who wishes to come along. Entry is free and as a Friend of SHARP, parking is too!
All for just £15 a year!
